SECURITY ASSESSMENT, PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT
- Development of security plan to secure the Green Zone which included ministerial, Embassy and Presidential buildings in a Middle East country
- Creation and initiation of security plan for a Middle East international airport to meet U.S. Transportation Security Administration standards including all passenger, cargo airside/landside security plans as directed by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and the country’s Civil Aviation Authority
- Advised the Coalition Provisional Authority and the Ministry of Transport on the construction and operation of all internal Entry Control Points (ECPs) and observation towers on the perimeter walls of a Middle East country

- Assessment and examination of U.S. port and its existing security operations and crisis management plans, including personnel selection, training, and supervision as well as staffing, duties and responsibilities and standard operating procedures
- Coordinated security requirements for a U.S. port and over 400 tenants which included providing security and threat analysis, surveying the 2.5 mile land perimeter, over 2 miles of docks and waterside areas, designing a new security operations center, upgrading physical and operational security systems, and managing the IT infrastructure and installation
- Led the team to enhance the security, IT and communications systems of a major U.S. airport. Activities included: reviewing and upgrading 37 security and communications systems, including access control, CCTV, Common Use Terminal Equipment, visual information display, telephone, automated vehicle identification and the communications infrastructure, designing a central data exchange system for the integration of selected systems, preparing the background analysis, designing security check points and security interface to the baggage systems, and preparing the detailed requirements for systems integration

TRAINING
- Trained police force in basic airport and aviation security for a Middle East country
- Assembled a training and operations team of military and police experts to work worldwide on operations assisting all types of security including intelligence, narcotics, aviation, maritime, training and plan writing in conjunction with CAA, FAA, and TSA regulations and the ISPS code
- Led a training and development team dealing with all aspects of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code to ensure port authorities, shipping companies, and any other maritime related businesses were correctly prepared for new regulations
