He has worked previously as a quality rater for Google, an interpreter for LionBridge Interpretation Services, and as an intern and special assistant for the director of the United Nations Association in Washington, DC.
Ilhan attended the Oxford Policy Program at Oxford University in England and holds a master's degree in Public Administration/International Management from George Mason University. A native of Turkey, Ilhan speaks fluent English and reads and writes in Arabic.
